ZX Towbar
Thinking of sticking one of these on, but don't really want the ball & scokets on show when not in use as I think it spoils the rear. any options??
The removeable hook types are at least double up in retail price (in DK), and only leaves a mounting flange/bracket low behind the rear bumper.
Types I've seen here in DK uses a sturdy lockpin, with a built in antitheft key-lock, and a safety clip. On modern cars it almost certainly means a minor cut out is needed in lowest part of the bumper skirt. I've seen this done meticulous, hinging the cutted out part, looks very nice.
Downside is that the hook (& plug) can be somewhat bothersome to fit/remove down there low behind bumper.
