C4 Picasso 2010 phone contacts on bluetooth

Unread post by mariusblk »

Hello forum, i'm a new user of a C4 Picasso 2010 160 THP automatic. Just paired my Galaxy S7 with the car, all good, sound is good, signal good BUT no contact list. As i browse the menu contact list option is greyed out an i can't access it. When someone calls I see only the number but i did accept contact sharing. I can't call from adress book only type numbers.

I just drive the care for about 30 minutes a day, continous driving. Should i make a longer drive so that car will eventualy download my agenda?

Thanks.

It would be good to know which system your car is fitted with. There are pictures identifying most common systems here viewforum.php?f=44 .

Can you try pairing a different phone? as sometimes there is incompatibility with specific phone software.

If you have just paired a phone it can take some time to synchronise the contacts and of course it can only do this when the system is operating.

Version information: rneg_D_R20h_R20.16

The car was bought with this software version, no upgrade.

I have paired the phone 1 week ago but as i said in my 1st post, the car has not been driven for more than 30 min per session so far. I read on the forum that syncing the contacts would take some time and that they would be available if I did a longer drive, 1-2-3 hours. Is that true?

What is your opinion? Thanks.
