C5 restyle, replace non-Lens with Lens headlamps

Hi,

thinking of replacing my headlamps, non-lens. Found good ones with Lens/halogen.
Physically they will fit, but my question is will they work? Are wires the same? All their functions like auto-leveling.... ?

Just bought the car, fixing small issues now.

What do you mean "non-lens"? Do you mean you have the halogen headlamps and not the bi-directional Xenon headlamps with projector lenses?

If you are replacing like for like, halogen headlamps with the same halogen headlamps you won't have a problem. But if you are talking about replacing halogen units with Xenon Headlamps, then no they won't just work, as they require additional electronics, headlamp washers and configuration to operate. I've not seen anyone do this upgrade successfully as there are so many modifications and parts needed.

I have now halogen ones, no lens projector.
The ones (not yet bought) I found are with lens projectors.

That sounds like a challenge at least to study the question. As I understood the wiring could e different.

As a start, the car have Headlamps washers, I have Lexia, and love to DIY for my cars
