LDS capacity Peugeot 508

Unread post by 508c5 »

Hi,

Couldn't find the data anywhere - does anyone have the capacity of the hydraulic fluid (LDS, power steering) for a Peugeot 508 1.6 THP 156BHP ? Is it more than 1L ?

Thx

The capacity is not specified, but is just topped up as per the level on the reservoir. If you're wondering how much Fluide DA / LDS you'll need for draining the Power Steering and refilling, I'd make sure you've got at least 3 litres available just in case.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Thx, that is my intention indeed (sadly 1L costs about 25£ here...)

Is a 5l bottle/can available in your area? That may be a cheaper way of buying 3l. Ebay is where I would start looking.
