Hi from Norfolk

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hi from Norfolk

Unread post by Andrew121967 »

Hi,

Recently discovered this forum whilst trying to find a suitable adaptor to fit a Blaupunkt A05 CD Changer to my 1995 306 S16.

Had Peugeots as everydayers since the early 2000’s. First was a P1 306 D Turbo in Miami blue, which was probably the best car I’ve ever owned and shouldn’t have sold. Then had a 106 XSI, another 306 DTS, 206 D Turbo and SW. More recently had and still own (from new) a 2008 207SW HDI and a hatch 207. The Mrs has a 2011 207 CC 112 HDI which is a great car.

Always been into classic Minis and have three mk1 (inc a 1275 Cooper S) and a mk2 998 Cooper that I’ve owned since 1986.

Wanted a more comfortable modern classic car due to onset of age things and my hips don’t allow long distance Mini driving now ! So decided to get a P1 306 but had to be a standard car, not a Max Power reject.

After looking at an S16 and GTI-6 in the summer which were OK but not as good as I wanted, I stumbled across by chance conversation on a Facebook group, of a Bianca white 1995 S16 in remarkable original condition. To cut a long story short, I took a trip to Doncaster at the end of 2022 and drove the car home.

Looking forward to some nice runs out in the summer including my first PugFest attendance in July.

Welcome Andrew, take that camera with you and post up some pictures all adds to interest on the forum. :-D
Norfolk is surprisingly well catered for here, a thread of its own no less called...

What do you know about Norfolk :?: viewtopic.php?t=55825

It also featured along with the 92 other historic counties of the UK here

and on the Peugeot Section we have a gallery of Peugeot Classics

Plenty of interest and opportunities to participate on the FCF, and if there isnt...start one!
