Hi do all C3's run on low profile tyres, if not are they interchangeable. Thanks

No, always fit the recommended tyres as shown on the label in the door pillar sticker which will be correct for the specific vehicle.

I have probably not explained it correctly. What I mean't to say was are the wheels exchangeable with correct tyes to fit. I don't like low profile, I apologise for any confusion Thanks Mike

My daughter's C3 has proper tyres. It is a 58 reg. No photo's that I can recall other then her number plate as I can't remember car numbers for the parking metes, not even my own.

Nearly every vehicle has a notional overall tyre diameter that is MORE OR LESS consistent across all the wheel sizes, the difference in rim bigger rim size is taken up by lower profile sidewalls. As far as I can tell the C3 was available with 165/70R14 or 175/65/14 or 185/60R15 or 205/50R16 or 205/45R17 or 215/35R18 tyres. The 15" option is within 0.8% larger than the diameter of the 18", a similar variance on the 16" option, but the 16" option is bigger than the 18" option. The two 14" options are outliers, being 3.9% smaller than the 18" option.

If you tell me your current tyre size, and what size wheels you want to fit, I'll calculate out a tyre size that is within striking distance of your original tyres to keep the speedo / stability control system "happy" while still letting you get "proper" tyres on there to give you a more plush ride.

Hi Jay sorry for the late reply but was out for most of yesterday. The tyre size on my wheels is 205/45 ZR17 you can nearly feel a matchstick when you run over something. It maybe me just being too picky, but my first new C3 from many years ago seemed to ride much better, would think with smaller rim sizes and larger tyres. Wouldn't want really to upset the speedo settings. Mike
