Hi,
I own a DS3 crossback 69 plate.
I often (not always) have problem connecting CarPlay. Sometimes, when the lead is connected to the phone the car doesn’t link to CarPlay but only to ‘iPod’ instead.
Does anyone have this problem? or any tips on how to make it work properly every time I link the phone?
Thanks
CarPlay

Re: CarPlay
CarPlay should just work after 30 seconds or so of plugging it in after starting the car. It takes a little while when starting the vehicle for the various modules to load.
The biggest issues with connectivity are 90% down to the cables used. Always use a genuine Apple cable that is MFi certified as this ensures quality and that the device is protected as well.

Thanks for you help.
I am using a genuine cable but I’ll try another one just in case it’s the cable playing up.

Re: CarPlay
Ok, so check for vehicle firmware updates (should be notified via your DS App) and also for the latest IOS updates as there have been a few lately to correct bugs.
