Peugeot Partner Tepee - Clutch

Unread post by atters »

Hi all
Started having some clutch slippage so trying to book in to be replaced. One garage has said I need to replace the dual mass flywheel too but the other garage say I have a solid flywheel. How do I know who is correct?

Car is 2011, 1.6 HDi (75 BHP)

That's generally good advice, as a DMF will rarely outlast a second clutch and the labour is the killer which you'd have to pay out again just do do the DMF, so that's why they recommend doing them together. As to whether you actually have a Dual Mass Flywheel is the question.

Pop your VIN up and I'll advise you (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).
