The culprit was the offside drop link - there was not really any discernible play when on the car, with wheels on ground, but one end was slightly loose - not much. I found the spanner flats on the ball peg after I got it off, too

For all those who have been reading the saga of my pobble noise with varying degrees of interest / boredom, he is no more. He is an ex-pobble.
The culprit was the offside drop link - there was not really any discernible play when on the car, with wheels on ground, but one end was slightly loose - not much. I found the spanner flats on the ball peg after I got it off, too
The replacement didn't have any of these
