C4 GP MK2 Trailer Control Module

Hi everyone,
I have akward problem.
On My C4 GP (2017), VIN number VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff], the trailer control module have been burnt (don't ask how ).
PN of the original module is 9810050080, but is not available anymore (Citroen dealer's words).
There is replacement module/part number available (PN 9837999380 ), but it looks like it's suitable only for the C4 X or Citroen Jumpy IV (Citroen dealer's words ).
If I google it, it looks like it's suitable for many Peugeot, Citroen and DS vehicles.

In discussion with aftermarket parts dealer (https://www.der-ersatzteile-profi.de/ar ... g-a6472314), the 3rd PN was offered: 9837167080
I am completely lost what to buy.
I must mention: I have 13 pin trailer socket including power supply for a caravan fridge.
When the trailer is in use (plugged in), rear parking sensors are disabled.

Can anyone help with this?

You need to be aware that official PSA trailer fuse boxes and kits are vehicle specific. They may look the same but are not, and have to be compatible with the specific vehicle electronics or you will have issues.

Curiously, searching eBay UK for "Citroen 9810050080" brings up results for PN 9812711280 described as an alarm module. I don't know why 9810050080 returns 9812711280 - maybe it is compatible?
The modules in the eBay photos do look the same as the modules in the Spanish website above.
Compare the photos with your module - it won't cost anything to do so.

Yes, they all look the same.
I finally found one (used) with the correct part number - it's on its way.
I'll let you know when it's installed.
