Hello Guys, I have a Citroen Jumpy 1.6 hdi from 2012 90 hp version with hot start issues. When the engine is cold everything works fine, even te starting. When it gets hot, it don't want to start from 10 out of 3-5 times. The starter and the battery is ok, they turn the engine fast and long enough. When the engine don't want to start, it seems that it has no fuel, and happens nothing even if I am starting it for 20 secs. If I interrupt the starting, and try it again in 2-3 secs the engine starts. Sometimes starting is in progress, and after 10-15 sec it starts on very low idle, cca. 250 rpm, and I need to continue with the starter, than it reaches the normal idle speed, and the engine starts, and works fine. Sometimes is starts like I was trying to start it with cold starter spray or with gasoline, it clacks, knocks for 3-5 secs, after then everything fine. The car has cca. 200k kms. On higher revs it is strong, everything works fine, only the hot start...
We use Delphi diag. According to Delphi:
- no fail code, only one, P050B too long starting/interrupted
- high pressure pump, injectors tested on test bench, everything OK
- we changed the timing belt, timing is OK
- it does not have a low pressure pump, we saw some diesel oil on the top of the diesel filter, so we changed it, because of any possible leaking
- rail pressure sensors new
- rail valve new, tested OK
- coolant temp sensor changed, OK
- tank level 3/4
If I look at some live data I can see that in the case of won't start, the starting fuel pressure (350 bar) builds up very slow, in 15-20 secs, sometimes it can not build up.
Does somebody have any idea? From which sensor does this car get the fuel temp data?
