Temp gauge, C4 Grand Picasso.

Hi, can anyone tell me why Citroen, in their infinite wisdom, never fitted a temperature gauge to this vehicle?? Very confusing situation!! Relying on guesswork. Thank you.

For a start, it would help if you said what vehicle you are referring to a MK I or a MK II B78?
Next, what are your referring to: Engine Oil Temperature, Engine Water / Coolant Temperature or Outside External Temperature?
Even better the VIN (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).

If coolant temperature, then only a warning lamp on the Mark I C4 Picasso, the later models do have a digital Temperature Gauge.

I must admit I have often wondered the same thing. In my case it is a 1.8 2008 C4GP VTR+ vin VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] which has no water temp gauge, but I suspect this is a general mk1 C4GP thing?

Thank you Marc, apologies it is not my vehicle so no vin. So we have no idea whether the thermostatis stuck open or the warning light is about to show! Is it possible to fit an after market system?

Not really as you have no way of integrating it into the vehicle's systems.

If there is an issue you will get a warning.
