C4 Grand Picasso (mk1, non stop start) battery replacement

Unread post by techgeekout »

Evening everyone, question re: my dad's 2012 mk1 C4GP.

It's the 1.6 HDi manual, 110hp, but without stop start fitted.

From what I've seen it needs at least a 59Ah and something like 540a of cranking power, probably more like 65 and 600 respectively.

However whenever I stick the reg into a website it only returns stop start batteries, which I presume aren't necessary as it doesn't have S/S, but I just wanted to check.

Thank you very much :-D

Hi, and :welc: to the Forum. If you post the VIN in this thread (without any spaces, so the security software can obscure it like this; VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] ) the Forum staff (I am NOT Forum staff!) can then use that to look up what your vehicle had when it rolled out of the factory, and make sure to get you the correct information.
