I've been selecting the old generation BSI in Diag as I assume its a 2006 build version

Is there a better way to validate what BSI it has ?

If this is for your vehicle ending 365, then you have a cross range BSI.

Is there a way I can tell via Diag ?

I looked on service box readout Richard sent a while ago but it did not say anything

Is my other 407 petrol ending 059 a old one gen or cross range ?

Unfortunately your other one isn't listed, so you'll have to supply me with a picture of the top of the BSI so I can identify it and even better the label stuck on it.

Ok, so this vehicle has a SAGEM Top (Variant S) BSI (VAN architecture), Mid Range Trim. So it's not the later cross range version.

So old generation (given its the only other choice I have)

That would be correct as it's the older VAN architecture not CAN.
