Hi
My 63 Plate Nemo Van has thrown up a P0340 code which I belive is a camshaft sensor fault?
Can any of you knowledgeable chaps (or ladys) point me in the right location for it?
1.3 Hdi 75ps nemo Van on a 63 plate
Thanks in advance

Re: Nemo Van Camshaft Sensor Location
Hi guys
Further to my last post I have changed the cam sensor but still having issues with starting
Van intermittently cranks for maybe 5 to 10 seconds before it starts
Sometimes it fires up instantly and then next time it will crank and then start after 10 seconds
No engine lights or fault codes and used citroen dealer part
New glow plugs last year
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Just an after thought
I have changed the unit number 3 on diagrame
What is the sensor numbered 1 lower down on the engine block?

Re: Nemo Van Camshaft Sensor Location
Number 1 is the crankshaft position/speed sensor.

Great thanks Wheeler.
So just to confirm
I had a P0340 code which is camshaft position sensor (3) which I have changed
Could a faulty crankshaft sensor (1) be at fault?

Re: Nemo Van Camshaft Sensor Location
Just because you have a fault code relating to a sensor does not necessarily meant the sensor itself is faulty.
most basic diag tools should be able to read live data from the crank sensor, to see if there is an RPM signal coming from it when trying to start the engine, check this before replacing parts.
