I'm about to acquire a 2010 C3 1.4 HDI and want to replace the OEM radio.
Various car settings are controlled by the radio, eg. rear wiper action, clock and other things I don't remember.
Has anyone succesfully replaced the OEM radio with an aftermarket radio and if so, can you still set the clock ect?
I know there's ISO adapters and it seems there's also adapters for the steering wheel controls, but I'm unsure about the above.
Cheers,
Martin

No, expect to lose this functionality Martin. The Head Units do a lot more than play music / radio. Trip computer will go along with fault logs and other options as you have mentioned. The harnesses are pretty much only for compatibility with steering wheel volume controls etc.

Thanks for the reply, Marc.
So you're saying that I can't adjust the clock with a new head unit?

Not generally, as the car-specific systems like trip computer, clock, temperature, fault log consultation, warnings, messages and vehicle features that are activated or deactivated via the Head unit / Screen are integrated and very likely will not be available if you install another audio system.
