Sorry im not sure what a kbi variant is? Is this a petrol or diesel engine?
If its petrol & you cant see it on the fuel rail then it will likely be built into the in tank fuel pump assembly.
If its diesel is bolted onto the HP fuel pump.

Here is the regulator on a petrol variant.
