2007 207 1.4 16v Sump gasket or sealant?

Good evening folks,

There's a small leak on my sump seal which unfortunately is dripping on the exhaust. I'm going to drop the sump but there seems to be conflicting info on whether to seal it with a gasket or RTV. Any pearls of wisdom out there to assist me?

As far as I know the sump pan has no gasket and relies on a bead of sealant...

A fully functional and satisfactory sealant for this task will be Loctite 5910 Flange Sealant...
