Yesterday both my keys stopped working (for locking/unlocking car, starting and driving unaffected)
I changed batteries in both but still no joy. The central locking still works fine from the dash button. Last night before bed I had my keys in my hand to lock the front door and I pressed the Renault key button and I heard the car lock! I cycled it through a few time and it all seemed fine. However, this morning, gone again….
I disconnected the cars battery and cleaned the contacts (battery seems in excellent condition by the way) but still nothing. Can’t anyone tell me where the receiver is positioned on the car for the central locking?
