Bouncing instantaneous fuel consumption and hunting idle

Hi there everyone!

On my second C3 1.4 hdi 8 valver this time around and this particular example seems not as peppy as my previous one. Granted this one feels like its had a rougher life..
Anyway on to the issue:
Does anyone else have the instantaneous fuel consumption meter bounce when rolling and the gearbox in neutral? Mine seems to bounce from 0,8-1,4-1,7-2,4l/100km in no particular order and never seems to settle like my friends 1.6 hdi which always seems to sit at a nice 0,3l/100km in the same test... Coupled with this i have an issue where the idle hunts +30 rpms from 768 to 800rpms up and down and the car seems to be consuming more fuel than expected, especially when in the slightest of slight inclines its hard to keep the car under 6l/100km. Wondering if anyone else can check their instantaneous fuel consumption readings when rolling and in neutral?? Have checked with lexia but didn't find any fault codes except for a ABS Pump fault which was interestingly enough logged in the Injection ECU page as a remote fault. Can it be that the ABS pump jamming causes the unsteady idle and fuel consumption? Live injection readings seems fine but also don't really know what the value ranges should be for the readings... Any help appreciated
