Injectors query ?

Afternoon folks can anyone tell me why there is a row of numbers ground of of this injector ? Does this denote that is a remanufactured item and not a brand new item ? The injector is. Delphi item from a HDI RCZ. Thanks

That's very likely and a possibility for sure. Remanufactured injectors will not have the same calibration as applied to the original injector, depending on what has been changed and the brand / type of injector - as some just have a classification code whilst others have an individual code per injector.

New injectors should not have anything ground off the label, so I'd be very wary.
