Hi and thanks for being added to the site...
So, I have a 2015 Grand C4 Picasso exclusive and I love it. Had it for a couple of years with no problems at all!
Except recently the boot has decided not to want to work recently. Either press the handle or key, the boot unlocks, moved and inch, gives 1 long beep and doesn't want to open. I can however pull it up manually and it will always close automatically. I changed the battery, still the same problem.
I sent it to a French car "specialist" who replaced the struts for new, reprogrammed them and they don't work at all.
I've scoured the net looking for answers, there is loads on the 3 beep issue but I can't find anything on the single beep. There are no fault codes being thrown up either. I've looked for the obstacle sensor location but can't find anything on that either.
Can anyone please help? I'm at my worst end.
TIA

Hi, and
to the Forum. I cannot offer you any advice, other that to wait for somebody with knowledge of your car to see this thread and chip in.

I'm not sure which system you have - motorised tailgate or the later hands-free version with foot swipe, but be aware that fault code readers other than the latest version of Diagbox ( V9.**) are unlikely to be able to pick up the fault codes as they are constructor-specific.
It may be a fault of the hands free ECU responsible for the motorised tailgate in which case it really needs a dealer to look at it.
