207 hdi 16v dv6aetd4

Unread post by citroenxm »

Hi all..

We have a 207, 59 plate Sw with the dv6aetd4 16v hdi 90 unit on it.

We bought it on 125k and been with us since.. I initially did 12500k oil changes, then as we got closer to 180k changed to 10k oil changes which I'm sticking to now.

The car was on its original turbo which still works and have good boost etc however of recent I've noticed out the back a like grey ish brown ish haze of smoke under load ... which has been quite excessive certainly at night with following cars ..

So this week, the car has had a new maf, new oil and filter and new air filter, I've also fitted a new turbo cartridge too..

Performance is good, and so far all seems OK, but I'm still getting smoke on load its not black which is excessive fuel.. its not as easy to see it while driving 8n the day as it is at night ...

Attached very short video of what its like in the day to give an idea.

So.. 2 questions.. is this reminiscence of remaining excess in the exhaust, will it clear up after a few days.?
Or
Would it be linked to the egr valve, its the only thing that's not 100 percent perfect. The copy values don't register in diagbox for the egr valve, however, the eml isn't on. .

Any advice greatly recived thanks.
