Keys won't turn Peugeot Partner Tepee

Hi there, New member here.
Yesterday I moved my girlfriends Peugeot Partner Tepee out of the parking space to give her better access for her wheelchair. Locked the car, went back inside to finish up nd back out in less than 10 minutes. Unlocked the car, put the key in ignition and it wouldn't turn. Could not start the car at all. I have replaced the battery in the fob and still nothing.
I am hoping you lot could explain what's going on

Might just be the steering lock is engaged and tight, try wiggling the steering wheel while you turn the key it might release. If not then maybe the lock is broken.

The key might be worn. Try wiggling the steering wheel first. If that doesn't work, try the spare key if you have one, and wiggle the steering to take the strain off the lock.

Sometimes it can be that simple.

It can be caused parking too tight to the kerb or with the wheel turned into the kerb - you release the key and the steering lock - locks, making it harder to turn the wheel to unlock it on restarting as the wheels are tight against the kerb.
