Hi,
Thanks to the invaluable support from this forum, I have been able to resolve a long-standing immobiliser problem on a Citroen Relay 2 (VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]).
The engine now starts and runs fine, (but still not MoT'd for road use).
I now have a number of DTC's to deal with (see attached). I presume the one relating to the fuel temperature sensor (P0180), the first in the list, is the one giving rise to the engine light on the dashboard.
Any clues please as to how/where I might start my investigation? For starters, is the sensor likely to be under the bonnet, or (hopefully not) inside the fuel tank?
Thanks.

Re: Citroen Relay2 DTC's
I take everything was OK with the chip once you done it off the rig & on the actual van?
Cant really remember about the vans but only the very early 2.0 HDi cars had a fuel temp sensor then they became obsolete on later models. They were on the fuel return line from the HP pump & had a 2 pin red plug, a quick check on servicebox & i cant see one listed either for your VIN.

Re: Citroen Relay2 DTC's
Hi Wheeler,
Yes the key you kindly programmed for me with the Immobox bin file work fine.
As Sod's Law would have it, the van would still not start initially, but Lexia reported a communication dialogue problem between the Immobox and the ECU! Your schematic (together with the knowledge I had gathered from my bench test rig) suggested a straight connection (single blue-yellow) between the Immobox and the ECU. Tested with multimeter - sure enough no continuity! Had a good look at both ends, but nothing obvious, so ran another dedicated wire between the two. Hey presto! Van starts and runs fine! No idea where the breakage is, but not too fussed now that I have worked around it.
Thanks also for your views on the DTC. I'll check when I am at the vehicle again.
Much appreciated.

Re: Citroen Relay2 DTC's
A rather belated update on this - apologies! It is a "background" project though!
The source of the "Diesel Temp " fault can clearly be seen in the attached pic!
The sensor cables had been completely chewed through. Piecing these out and reconnecting to the sensor plug cleared the dashboard light immediately.
With acknowledgement to forum member Wheeler -again!
