DPF fluid for 407

Unread post by JamesQB »

Hi,

Fluid low warning is coming up. Saw a post on this forum which indicates there is more than one type of eolys fluid depending on car age, as I plan to refill myself and reset with Lexia.

Can someone please help with what fluid I need to buy? Can provide VIN.

Thanks

Hi, and :welc: to the Forum. You will need to post the VIN here, so that a Forum Moderator can then look up your vehicle (in the PSA database) and let you know the correct fluid for YOUR car. The VIN will be protected by the Forum software so that only Forum staff can read it (like this; VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] ).

If its a 2007 model you will need Eolys 176

Thanks for all the replies. If I recall correctly, the RPO number is on a silver sticker on the door post, the one with the paint code EXLD further down. It’s showing 11027CJ so it’s eolys 176.

VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Scan tool shows 3000ml capacity and 648ml remaining. Do I just remove connector to tank and fill until it runs out, like a gearbox refill?

Expensive stuff!

When I did mine with similar numbers showing I put in 2 litres, told the car it was refilled and then added the third litre after it had used the difference without doing any reset so that overall it had had 3 litres put in following that reset!! It worked fine for me! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
