Sat nav not working
My wife has a 2019 Citroen C3. The Android Auto sat nav has stopped working. The Samsung phone says ‘Can’t connect to car screen’ and the car screen says ‘Navigation System Absent’. I’ve switched the phone on and off and also changed the cable but it made no difference. Any ideas what could be wrong please?

Can you pop your VIN up so I can see exactly which variant you have (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).

Re: Sat nav not working
Ok, so I just wanted to clarify the actual system you have for my own benefit, which is the Connected Radio without Sat Nav and no Telematics unit, so your only options are connection via a connected phone which you already know.
So the most likely issue that can affect the loss of connectivity is a phone software update. We know that Mirror Link is no longer supported on newer phones, but if your wife's phone has been updated lately, the phone software may have caused the connection issues.
I would suggest that you do several things.
1) Delete the stored Bluetooth phone from the vehicle screen completely and any other phones stored.
2) Completely remove the Bluetooth connection to the C3 from the Smart phone.
3) Reboot the phone (don't just turn it on and off) it needs a system restart.
4) Check the software version on your smartphone and let me know
4) Start the engine, then try connecting the phone again and see if it is detected.

Many thanks for this. I’ll give it a go. Can I come back to you tomorrow? I’d rather wait for my son to go through what you have suggested?

As I’m not sure I would know how to delete the Bluetooth settings

Re: Sat nav not working
Good morning. I have tried this and it works. Many thanks for your help. The software on the Samsung is Android version 11 and the one ui core version is 3.1. My wife doesn’t tend to update the software on her phone so it might be an old version.
Thanks again. It’s very much appreciated.
