Are light mods worth the hassle, if you have done yours i haven't , this video could help with an issue some folks have encountered.

Had seen that but not watched it. I rely on keeping the screen and wipers clean, mainly using methylated spirits. Wipers last indefinitely too. Current ones were on the car when I bought it 2½ years ago and the ones on the C5 were also on it and lasted six years.

Haven't watched that as annoying American.

Side note: 1.6 HDi in our 206 (3 door, GTi HDi spec) is a cable gear selection setup. Am pretty sure the 206CC available with the 1.6 HDi engine too, so would think that too would a cable change gearbox.

Pretty much sure the cc is cables, my sw is and they freeze up in this cold weather
