Injector correction value invalid
Hello, i have a problem with one of cilinder no. 2 exactly , on diagbox when I watch injection correction on injector no 2 is only show invalid value on diagbox, i change the injector i programed the ECU with the new injector and still the same invalid value , if I pull out the electric plug and start the engine i will get error on injector is short to ground so the cables are ok , why in diagbox and also on other testers ( FAP) is showing invalid value on injector no.2

Re: Injector correction value invalid
I think I found the problem , the correction on injector 2 is very high negative and don't show it like more then -6 , i change the injector 3 times and is the same , what can cause very high negative correction with any injector, i made a compression test on all 4 and is 25 bars +- 1 2 bars difference between them.

Hello,
I have the same problem. I've done some research and haven't found any answers. Have you found the problem?

Re: Injector correction value invalid
Necro-thread alert, but I too have this problem.
And... I think someone may have shed some light on it.
If you read the last post here (https://www.peugeotforums.com/threads/1 ... ng.334842/),
it suggests that the compensation values from the ECU read as the wrong injectors.
So... using Peugeot/Citroen ordering with injector number 1 being at the gearbox end of the engine,
The ECU correction values are mapped as follows:
Physical injector 1 gets reported as 'Flow Correction 1'
Physical injector 2 gets reported as 'Flow Correction 4'
Physical injector 3 gets reported as 'Flow Correction 2'
Physical injector 4 gets reported as 'Flow Correction 3'
I have a high (+6) value on 'Injector 2', so I replaced injector 2 and nothing changed.
I'm going to use an oscilloscope to actually measure the idle pulse widths at the injector. The +6 compensated injector should be obvious by it's longer pulse width.
And... if this guy is right, I should see it on physical injector 3.
Stay tuned...
