Aditive pump

Hello everyone! An error appeared on my car, engine fault need repair. I put the tester on and it shows that the additive pump is no longer communicating with the ECU. I took the additive tank down and noticed that I have about half a tank left. Some time ago this error appeared again but after a few days it disappeared by itself. The car is a Peugeot 5008 2.0 hdi 2011.

I'd be checking the wiring connections to make sure they are not shorting or damaged. Also, if the pump has had the wrong additive type, this can cause a blockage and pump failure. Dry running can then cause a failure. Probably best to have it diagnosed for a fault code and then put that up here when you have it.
