U2108 clutch master cylinder

Unread post by bulldogsimon »

Hi, hoping you can help as my local garage is at a loss. Took my 2015 c4 cactus to local garage for repair. The clutch master cylinder was leaking over my feet. No other faults present. When I collected the car I have esp/asr system fault. The garage man plugged in the tablet and the code is u2108. He couldn't fix it but I'm hoping it's a simple fix like a dislodged connector from when the cylinder was replaced. I'm not very mechanically minded so would appreciate any simple things to check. Thanks

Give it back to the garage, if it was ok before the replacement of the master cylinder its down to them.

Turns out the cheeky b%stards fitted the wrong cylinder and cable tied the old one out of the way with the cables still attached. Main dealer found it. Stern words with local garage needed.

Good, glad you got it sorted out. That's why I said give it back to the garage. Why should you have to do their job. I hope you have claimed the cost of the original repair from the first garage.

Bunch of cowboys. I'd say VOSA or trading standards might be interested.

Take some photos and go back for a refund, if you haven't done so already.

And then take your car to a competent mechanic
