hi guys and girls, thanks in advance for any help on the situation.
I have a peugeot bipper 1.3 hdi on a 2015 plate.
it's just been in for mot and failed on the engine management light being illuminated.
I have since tried 3 obd2 readers or diagnostics and 2 of them are absolutely unable to read a code. with the third diagnostics showing no codes present.
there definitely is an engine management light on the dash though.
I'm pulling my hair out and need the van for running my business.
any advise is greatly appreciated.
engine management light on, no codes present on the diagnostics.

Re: engine management light on, no codes present on the diagnostics.
Hi, and
to the Forum.
There are two things to check. First, were any of the diagnostics DiagBox/Lexia clones (as most low cost generic readers cannot 'understand' PSA vehicles (neither can most people!
)? The Lexia can (but may also need the S.1279 module), so that would help. The second thing is to check the fuse that is connected to the diagnostics port (using the owner manual, as I don't know which one it is), as these have been known to fail.

If using Diagbox then the Fiat adapter would be needed as this is just a re badged Fiat.
Were you able to see live data at all from any of them?
Did they try erasing the fault anyway (even though none were present)

thanks for that wheeler.
yes the sealey vs8812 was allowing me to see live data.
I hopefully have a iCarsoft - FR V3.0 arriving today. it costs 4 times the amount of the sealey so I'm hoping it can read the psa codes as previously mentioned.
it has fiat and Peugeot listed on the vehicle list.
I did erase the codes yes, but it lasted until a few seconds after starting the van up again.
