Question concerning Diagbox FAP related readings
I had errors concerning FAP some time ago and it appeared that it needs cleaning. I cleaned it myself (indeed, it needed that) as well as I filled the Eolys tank. I used Diagbox to setup FAP "replacement" and tank filling. After that I have no errors. However, I have mounted LED to my mirror heating but it never blinks and I've read it should during the FAP regeneration process. I was driving for more than 2000km since then so there must have been a regeneration. Today I checked exhaust line information and I see that "distance travelled since the last regeneration" is 295km. However, "power consuming equipment activation request" is "NO". What does this mean? That there was no such request during the last regeneration or that there will be no such request during any regeneration? This probably explains why LED was not blinking.
What does "authorisation of regeneration" mean?

Re: Question concerning Diagbox FAP related readings
Power consuming (also referred to as load acquiring) is when the ECU switches on electrical loads (like the heated mirror & screen etc you were talking about) to make the alternator work harder which in return makes the engine work harder to get the exhaust temp as high as it needs to be to regen. I would only ever expect to see this at 'YES' when a regen is in progress.
What i'm not sure is if it uses load acquiring on every regen or only if it needs to?

Yes, it only uses loading when necessary and may not use all devices to do so.

Since I've mounted this LED I am looking at it often but I've never seen it blinking or being lit so it seems that in my case car does not switch mirror heating during the regeneration.

Re: Question concerning Diagbox FAP related readings
I think I mentioned above - it is not always the case. The engine ECU will only set various loading equipment on when it is needed. It uses glow plugs too for regeneration, and if the exhaust gas temperature is 450° C then it wont need to use power 'loading'. Natural regeneration already takes place at 550 °C when travelling on a Motorway / Autobahn for example. When this is the case, there is no need for assisted regeneration.
