Eolys fluid Ds4 2.0 hdi

hi guys can you help ive replaced my Eolys fluid tank and pump and toped up the fluid in the tank but still code p1434 saying its the pump but pump does work does the new pump need coding to the car its a 2012 Ds4 2.0 HDI.

Well sort of... The pump itself does not need 'coding' to the vehicle, but the "filling of the pipe: additive pump - additive injector" operation needs to be completed otherwise the pump won't work. Further the Engine ECU also need to know that the additive fluid has been topped up, so the additive counter neds to be reset to zero - all with the diagnostic tool.
