Hi
I’m considering a 108 with 80000 miles on the clock for the wife. Are these also suffering with high oil consumption as the 208 1.0 and 1.2 VTI’s
In that case what causes the issue? PCV valve, piston rings or ??
Thanks for the help
Anders

Re: Peugeot 108 1.0 VTI burning oil?
This vehicle is basically a Toyota Aygo, similar to the 107 and Citroen C1.
As far as I'm aware the 1.0 engines are Toyota engines and the 1.2 are the PSA EB2 engines, so totally different.
Further development was cancelled and production was phased out from 2021 as Toyota fully took over the plant in the Czech Republic.
As for the oil consumption, I can't help you on that, but some of these compact 3 cylinder EB2 engines can drink oil over and above what you would classify as normal consumption!
