Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.

As with all mods to cars, it seems quite pointless.
At least it wasn't American, a big plus.
Reminiscent of one of my Imps. Neighbour borrowed it to visit his wife in hospital (new baby) and the stick came out in his hand. Jammed it back in and carried on.
His comments reminded me also of my GS. Best gearshift ever. Very light, slick and positive, I only used the bottom couple of inches, it was like a switch.

Love them hillman imps , my father test drove one many moons ago i was 6 , i sat in the passenger seat admiring the road from where i sat, no carpet on the floor & a hole the size of a tea plate in the floor .. it broke down on a hill during the test drive , we left it where it was and walked home , when we got home dad rang the chap up said your cars broke down on the hill i walked back home im not wanting it.

Concrete cavity blocks don't have much lateral strength because of the cavities
A stack of phone books would be safer than this
You can get a pair of ramps for 40 quid at Halfords so I don't know why you'd risk your life like this
