Hello Me Again!
In my continuing saga of finding a DPF/EOLYS Tank & Pump replacement, the part (as rare as hens teeth) that went missing in the post finally arrived today nearly a month late, good ole Royal Mail!
Finally after being off the road 3 months I have the Powerflex and EOLYS Tank & Pump for my mechanic to replace. He's not a specific Citroen mechanic and I know Citroen's can be like a baby deer when it comes to replacing some of the parts connected to the ECU - approach carefully and don't spook!
Is there any particular order or tips/advice on removing, replacing and resetting the EOLYS tank and fluid? The VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] and the part we are replacing is 9817154080 with Powerflex fluid.
Thanks in advance!
Bryony

Not really anything special as long as you have decent diagnostic equipment. Should be very straightforward for any mechanic to replace. Remove under gaurd, disconnect pipe &
electrical connector, undo the bolts & unclip tank.
Fill the new tank when its off the car (much easier).
Then with diag follow the new tank initialization procedure.

Thank you much appreciated! With my run of bad luck with this I’m half expecting another set of error codes to appear after this, it seems never ending

Re: Fitting DPF/EOLYS Tank and Refill
So tank was fitted and being error free lasted less than 24 hours
I’ve now crumbled and booked into the dealership for a diagnostic at extortionate £££. I’ve seen a lot of continuing errors like this have been down to a fault with the wiring loom and not necessarily with the actual EOLYS system, would this be picked up in a diagnostic? Is this an expensive fix? I had a wiring loom go for the alternator last year and the part wasn’t in stock so the garage spliced and fixed, is this possible in this case? I’m so fed up.
