Hi
Just joined this forum as all my attempts to find a replacement rear cover for my vehicle have drawn a blank. I have the same problem as mentioned in a previous thread in June, namely a rusty cover which is seeping oil. I have contacted my local Peugeot dealer, who have been very helpful in providing me with identification of the part but have had no joy in finding one, new or used, that even looks like mine! I am now trying to find a company/individual who might be able to make one? The following are the details from the registration document and/or provided by Peugeot
Compass Drifter motorhome
Built on
1998 Peugeot Boxer 320 lwb
2.5ltr diesel 5 speed manual gearbix
Reg S543 RHJ
Chassis VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Engine code DJ5
no FZ540161183
Gearbox code: BVM5
Rear cover part no: 2206K1
I believe that this model and the Citroen Relay were based on a Fiat Ducato so maybe I should be looking there as well.
I would appreciate any help or advise on a possible repair if a replacement cannot be found.
I tried to attach a photo of my cover but without success.
Regards Alan

Why not get a patch welded onto yours?

Thanks xantia
A repair is going to be the solution if I can't find a replacement but given the shape of the part I don't think that nay be that easy.

2206K1 is a complete gearbox empty casing??
I go the impression that you were meaning the 5th gear end casing?? (number 2 in the picture)
If this is the case then its's part number 220778.
This is also unavailable to but may help if you were searching for the wrong part number?

Don't know if he still has it, but this one in Czechoslovakia seems real, and at a good price (£18). https://www.sbazar.cz/Dosek20/detail/10 ... vodovky-me

Thanks again xantia
The site looks like a czech equivalent of ebay. I've sent a message to the seller, in english and czech (thank God for the translator) to ask about shipping to the UK so I'll see what I get back. NB Judging by the picture, this is the only part that I've seen anywhere that looks remotely like mine!
