C4 1.6 HDi Engine swap - Common rail fuel pump question

Hello, I recently got me a C4 with the 1.6 HDi engine (90 hp version)

Car has been very reliable, but two days ago, I had an unfortunate incident. The engine failed, leaving behind a huge oil trail. When I checked the engine, the coolant tank was black (oil mixed with coolant and leaked out by the pressure overflow tubes). The engine is pretty much toast (at the very least I need to replace the head gasked, of course that would also mean a lot of work to the head and block).

I found a used engine for cheap (with warranty). The engine version is the same, all plugs, tubes and accessories are exactly the same as the one in my car.

My question is: Does the fuel pump require coding to work in my car or will it work regardless. I know I have to reprogram the injectors, but I'm able to do that myself. Do I have to use the fuel pump in my old engine or can I just use the one that comes with the used engine?

TLDR: Is the Common Rail pump on the 90hp 1.6 HDi coded with the immobilizer system?

The immobiliser coding is in the ECU, so no need to worry about the pump. It will run with old injector coding, but may be a bit rattly.
