solenoid valve problem again

Unread post by habo »

Hello
I have to change the solenoid valve or turbo pressure valve again. Last time I used pierburg, since as far as I know citroen also uses them, but it lasted for a year.
I decided to put an authentic citroen. The part number in the citroen catalog is 1618C9 and the number written on the spare part is 9652570180.
This costs 110e
However, there is also the authentic citroen with part number in the citroen catalog 037035 and again in the spare part 9660775880.
This costs 60e.
The seller says that it is exactly the same and that it fits into my car.
Does anyone know if this is true? Can i place it? I imagine that they all do the same job, but will it break down soon like the pierburg one?
It would be nice to save some money to put towards the electricity bills.

The correct part number for the Turbo Solenoid Valve (Pierburg) for your 2006 Picasso 110 VIN ending 531 is:
pierburg.PNG
Item (1), part: 9652997580, £75.19

We can't comment on other part numbers from other suppliers or databases, but this is the official part number.

thank you Marc
Still I am a little confused . we have two boxes , one writes on the outside 1618C9 and the other one 9652997580 that Marc recommends as the right one . But inside the part both boxes have the same number 9652570180.
Ok I will chose the one Marc says

The 1618C9 is an internal part number used by Peugeot / Citroen / DS and this was likely the old number, now replaced with the one I gave you.
