Xsara Picasso, right hand dipped headlights not working, full beams are.

Hi there,

I have a strange issue on my car: Citroen xsara Picasso from 2002. When I turn on my headlights, the right hand side dipped beams do not work (the left hand side does work); but they all work when I put on full beams.

Any idea why that might be happening and how I can fix it?

Because the same bulb is used for both dipped and main beam. There are separate filaments in the same bulb, one for dipped and one for main. So you need to change the bulb and I suggest you change both at the same time to ensure the colour output is the same.
