Steering wheel feedback is odd

I've done everything else on this car, 1 issue remains. It has done it since I bought the car. It's a 2.0 16v Coupé C4 2005 LHD with about 120k miles. I rarely drive it so.... When going over a small hole or bump in the road the steering wheel judders. Like it would with cars pre-power steering. The fluid is on the max but I'd like to flush it through. Although my missus is only the 2nd owner and my mate (1st owner) had it serviced at Citroen, we bought it requiring everything doing so I'm guessing the fluid has never been changed. Could this the issue with the steering wheel? The car has gone through 2 MOTs and has no advisories. How do you flush the steering fluid, guessing there must be a bleed nipple near the rack somewhere?

No, just drain the fluid as much as possible & refill. Turn the steering lock to lock a few times.
as the reservoir in part of the pump the best way would be to remove the cap & take the rubber hose off the bottom of the pump, let as much of it drain out as you can. Turning the steering lock to lock a few times with the pipe off may get some more out.
The best thing to do would be to repeat the same again after a few days.

If the steering judders upon hitting a hole, it's almost certainly down to mechanical feedback from a worn component. I would suggest a bush on the lower wishbone which might be good enough to pass muster with the tester, but it'll cause annoyance with your steering as the trackrod will pick up the slight deviations as it moves in the housing. Even 1mm can do it.
