Broken dip stick?

More woes
So I started the car (C5 X7) only to be greeted with Oil level invalid message. I promptly lifted the bonnet and pulled out the dipstick only to find that the plastic end piece had broken off at the very top (and now presumed languishing in the sump).
Anyone else have this problem with the C5?

Yes, it's a common issue. Ignore it, Citroen now do, as they got fed up retrieving them from the sump. It won't go anywhere. Just get a new dipstick.
