I have a couple in mind. Let's start with Little Richard and Lucille.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

Marty McFly got it right in Back to the Future. Chuck Berry with Johnny B. Goode.

Probably the best Rock & Roll British single of the 50s. Cliff Richard & The Shadows with Move It.

Note that Jet Harris and Tony Meehan are still with the Shads and Hank Marvin really does look like Buddy Holly back then.

Here's one I feel doesn't get enough recognition. It really heralded the beginning of Rock & Roll in the UK. Lonnie Donegan with Rock Island Line.

One of the novelty records of the time. Rock Island Line is the real deal though.

Possibly the finest Rock & Roll record released by a British group in the early 60s. Johnny Kidd & The Pirates with Shakin' All Over.

I've seen Quo.. 9 times live, or maybe 10, including the Frantic Four tour of 2013. Oddly enough, the last time I saw them was at the O2 arena, the final "last night of the electrics"
which was recorded for a live album - 30 years to the day since the first time my aunty took me to see them at the NEC in Brum.
