I have a 1997 1.9 diesel turbo saloon. My one and only key has stopped working, works in the ignition but only spins in the barrels on the doors and boot. Asked at Citroen how to find the numbers to have one cut and their helpful advice was find a locksmith, we don't do that anymore and if we did we would charge 2k.

Any ideas on how to go about having new keys cut please.

Is the key spinning inside the door and boot locks or is the key turning the complete lock around?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

The key is just spinning in the locks but takes the plastic outer with it. Cannot feel any connection with metal in the barrel, feels like putting the wrong key in but have been using it successfully up until yesterdsay
