308 radiator removal

how does the rad come out of a 308?, I have removed the top two brackets, I can just about pull the rad back but it doesnt seem to want to pull up and out of the way, are there two more brackets to undo at the bottom of it? I thought it just had a couple of pins that go through rubber mounts at the bottom and it should just pull up, I dont want to force it.

As you posted nearly 4 years ago, i imagine you found a solution. (caveat my 308 is 2009)
Yes the bottom 2 pins are just that, plastic pins with rubber spacers that seemed to stay on the bottom pins when i removed my radiator - no force required.

As an added point for others - the book says to remove the top 2 brackets (with the rubber grommits) which are held by torx screws, that allegedly you need to remove the entire bumper to access....... Nope not doing that- if you aren't too worried about cosmetics of the plastic under the bonnet, simply cut a little access in the plastic that is stopping you getting to the 2 torx screws. Big pliers did it for me, cut a small half moon shape to allow the torx key to rotate. Never need to worry again, taking the radiator out is easy.

yes I sussed it out quickly, and yes I too found that cutting the plastic panel was far easier than taking bumper cover off.

so after that, easy, I didnt need to remove it just pull it back a bit as I was replacing the AC Condenser, that was really easy too.
