106 Engine light on right turn?

Hi, a mate has a little 1.1i 106 which has developed a slight problem. Every now and then when going round a roundabout (sharp right turn) the engine management light comes on and the car stutters slightly.
He stuck it in a main peugeot dealer who said they couldn't find anything wrong but I was wondering if anyone has come across anything similar.

Sounds like a dodgey electrical connection somewhere, trouble is finding it, good luck, Peugeot electrics arnt the best in the world.

Does the oil warning light work?
If it doesn't is there any chance the oil could be low and the management light is warning low oil, which kicks in as the oil level swings away from sump centre in a tight quick turn?
