A few questions about Lexia/Diagbox

Unread post by H4wkeye »

I'm looking into getting one myself, but there are so many versions, what do you choose? Some are listed as full chip, others lite. I take it there's a bunch of fake ones too. What do you pay attention to?

And secondly, is there any tutorial on how to set it all up on a laptop once you actually get it? I take it installing Diagbox is all it needs?

I got the full chip version from AliExpress and a seller with the best reviews.
There was a CD in the package with all instructions on how to go through the installation process.

And the most important thing, it's working without any issues.

I would recommend the equipment supplued by Easy Diagnostics (when they haven't sold out, that is).

Is it possible to give me the address of "AliExpress" so that I can also order there?

They are in fact all fake. :( some better fakes than others.

I didn't find any rules about posting links to the seller, so I will put them here. :)

I bought mine from this store/seller https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLOk71m.

It is not a recommendation but more like guidance or something like that because I don't like recommending anything and then holding responsible if something goes wrong. :domo:

The one I got is Full Chip ver. and it's working ok, although I tried it only on two cars, so yeah... 8-[
