FCF car stickers

Unread post by Rp0thejester »

I understand that the stickers stick to the inside of the windows. I have blacked out windows on the rear, is there an option for a bumper sticker?

They are the only ones we had produced. They are designed like normal window stickers Links here:

https://frenchcarforum.co.uk/landing_page/sticker.html

Pressing the Order Now button provides further instructions.

We didn't produce bumper stickers as this is not where most people would want a sticker - given that a lot of vehicle bumpers today are body colour painted, so would not be ideal, given the generally thinner paint covering the bumpers and the possible damage when removing. We just opted for the window stickers back at the time when the licence disc was no longer required and one for the rear. Easy to apply, remove and reapply.

Okay, that makes sense. Any idea of what type of plastic/material it's made from? Just in case I can find glue that won't dissolve it.

You could always use some decent double sided tape on the back of the stickers, and then apply them to your bumpers.

I was thinking that but it's a C8 so needs help/pushing uphill. Don't want the car behind me to nick it!

Well, what you do is to partially stick it onto the front bumper. Then, when you have to go up a slope, you stick the 'free' end to the car in front and get it to tow you up the slope! :-D

:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: brilliant idea! I was thinking of adding machine guns out of the washer jets for those people that brake in front of me when going up hill.

Does anyone know if I put laminate over it, would it survive an automatic car wash? I hate using them but my son loves them (he's Autistic).

I doubt it very much. It will likely get pulled off very quickly if not the first time. I think I mentioned these were designed to 'cling' to glass like material so they can be removed and reapplied as needed. They're not designed to be attached to other surfaces really.

I know there cling ons (Star trekking across the universe) but if I put a big laminate patch over the top... I'll give it ago. What's the worst that can happen...
