Ah there may be a problem with who has the final word in your relationship(s).
I suggest that you take the stance and let them know your word is final....

I refer the hon. gentleman to the following...

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

I couldn't find it either otherwise I would have posted a link. Fortunately I downloaded it (pinched it!) to post elsewhere so I had my own copy.

The real problem is that when males are breathing they are responsible for everything, when they are no longer breathing they are still responsible but safe in the knowledge they cannot be reminded of the fact :)

Two simple rules for married life:

1. The wife is always right!!

2. When she's not, Rule 1 applies!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I thought the having the final word issue was one of failing to notice the end of one argument and beginning of another completely independent new argument :rofl2:

A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
